Are for lovers. Every Sunday I get this whimsical feeling to head to the Melrose Place farmers market and indulge in the local fare. It is always exciting to gather my family together for little day trips. So that is what we did. After gathering everything I would need for the day, I dressed my children and headed out the door with my husband.
It is a constant juggle to maintain my sense of self, as well as be present for my children. Being a mother is the most rewarding and difficult experience of my life. After getting out of the car I thought to myself, “I want to take a nap already” but giggled as my husband held my hand and told me he how proud he was of our family. It’s the small things that give me jolts of energy.
We arrived at the farmers market and picked up some beautiful flowers for the home.
My daughter stopped along the way to rest on a stoop in front of the Equipment store.
