Spring is my favorite season for makeup! One of my favorite Spring trends is a bright lip color. There is no better time of year than Spring to show off your lips. Violet, coral, baby pink and fuchsia shades are all the rage during spring. NYX Cosmetics has an amazing coral lipstick called Haute Melon that’s great for all skin tones and women of any age. MAC Cosmetics Saint Germain Lipstick and Lipglass takes the cake when it comes to a staple shade of pink and for a work-appropriate subtle lip color try Stila Cosmetics Lip Glaze in Mango and Apricot.

Fuller, natural brows are perfect for Spring so you can set-aside the five brow products you used in the Winter. Always brush your brow hairs upward for a more youthful look and add a tinted brow gel to hold your hairs in place. Benefit Cosmetics Speed Brow is a perfect product to compliment your brows.Spring Fling: Hot Hues for the New Season, LVBX Magazine

Skin is in. Try new foundations this Spring and leave the heavier matte
foundations behind for this season. Use a tinted moisturizer or a lightweight BB Cream to let your shine through. Natural texture is where it’s at this season. My skin texture changes during this time of year. I love to shed my Winter skin for a fresh start to the season and give myself an at-home spa treatment that won’t break the bank. Natural and organic skin masks can be created right in your own kitchen Spring Fling: Hot Hues for the New Season, LVBX Magazinewith a few ingredients that you may already have in your pantry.

A quick and easy face mask that will replenish skin hydration and tighten and firm your skin can be made with 1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 egg whiteand 1 teaspoon of honey. Blend the egg white until it’s frothy and add the olive oil. Mix in the honey and ground oatmeal and apply to your skin and let it set for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Oatmeal acts as a natural exfoliant and the egg protein helps to minimize pores and reduce age-related (and gravity related) skin sags. Olive oil is an amazing moisturizing agent and honey boosts skin clarity, which is especially great for sunspots and hyper-pigmentation.
