Norah Jones Wants Us to Carry On

Who doesn’t love Norah Jones? Grammy-award winning Jones has been hitting us soulful since 2002 with her debut that had us realizing again that blue-eyed soul comes in all sizes and packages. “Carry On” is her current single off her upcoming album “Day Breaks Due,” which is set to release on Oct 7th. The album will also feature covers of Neil Young and Duke Ellington. The album brings her back to her original roots, piano driven jazz. The video depicts “Carry On” from an interesting perspective from Jones’ point of view as she is serenading an elderly couple dancing and cooking in their kitchen, almost like a voyeur that is looking for insight into couples that grow old together. Jones has said this album for her is like coming full circle and back to where she started. So slip on the song while you put your feet up and get ready to hum along. Norah is back!
